Woodside Lodge Caravan Site is located on the A181 Old Durham Road just outside Wheatley Hill, County Durham. We are in an ideal place for countryside walks, with Wingate Nature Reserve only mins away.  Furthermore we are only 10 minutes drive from Durham City Centre.

Our Caravan & Camping Site is ideal people looking to camp out in tents, camper vans, caravans and trailer tents.  For those campers who like camping all year round, you will be glad to know we are open all year round.

The camp site has water, electric (small daily charge of £5), showers & toilets and a chemical toilet waste station.  If you love bringing your pet camping then you will be glad to know pets are welcome and FREE to bring along.  If you have family or friends nearby visitors are welcome to visit free of charge.

On site we have a small children play are with slide and swings, we also have fire pits.

Locally there is a local garage/shop 500 metres along the road as well as a co-op shop in Wingate which is 2 mins away by car.
